Acid Bass with Accents & Random Cutoff
Create the accents:
1: MIDI Trig to VCA-B in.
2: MIDI Velocity to VCA-B CV in.
3: VCA-B out to ENV-A gate.
4: ENV-A to VCF FM-3.
5: ENV-A is being used for accents, so patch ENV-B to VCA-A level.
Adjust the VCA-B dial to set at what level of velocity an accent should trigger the envelope. Notes with a velocity above this threshold will pass to ENV-A triggering an accent. Turn CW to trigger more accents. Turn CCW to trigger fewer accents.
Adjust ENV-A ADSR settings to taste.
Try:
Mult VCA-B out to both ENV-A Gate and ENV-B fall. Now accented notes will ring out longer.
Random cutoff:
1: MIDI Gate to S&H Trig.
2: S&H to VCF FM-2.
Every note will have a randomized filter cutoff.
Add slew:
MIDI Pitch to Slew. Slew to VCO A Pitch.
Add drive and distortion:
Adjust drive to taste. For a dirtier sound try adding some feedback.
