Metallic Rimshot
This is the same patch as the 808 rimshot with a few changes to the settings.
1: The oscillators will provide the body of the sound. Tune both to an inharmonic combination.
1a: Tune VCO-B to A4 -42 cents.
1b: Tune VCO-A to G#6 +6 cents.
2: Patch either the sine or triangle from VCO-B to mixer in 1. Then raise the mixer in 1 and 2 channels. Turn on soft clipping in the mixer.
3: Patch the mixer to the wave folder audio in, and raise the wave folder mod level amount quite high.
4: Patch the wave folder out to the filter in. Switch the filter to HP4.
5: Mult ENV-B to the wave folder CV in and VCA-A level in. Set the envelope rise and shape all the way down. Adjust the fall level as you fire the trigger. Keep the envelope tight, but let it ring out a little.
6: Raise filter resonance (Q), and adjust the frequency to cut the low frequencies.
7: Set Drive to taste.
Optionally: Turn on soft clipping in the output section.
