Accents
Four different ways to add accented filter bleeps and squawks to your patches.
Accent VCA B & ENV B
1: MIDI Trig to VCA-B in.
2: MIDI Velocity to VCA-B CV in.
3: VCA-B out to ENV-B gate.
4: ENV-B to VCF FM-3.
5: ENV-B is being used for accents. ENV-A will have to be used for the filter envelope. Patch ENV-A to VCF FM-1.
6: Adjust the VCA-B dial to set at what level of velocity an accent should trigger the envelope. Notes with a velocity above this threshold will pass to the envelope triggering an accent. Turn CW to trigger more accents. Turn CCW to trigger fewer accents.
Accent VCA B & ENV A
1: MIDI Trig to VCA-B in.
2: MIDI Velocity to VCA-B CV in.
3: VCA-B out to ENV-A gate.
4: ENV-A to VCF FM-3.
5: ENV-A is being used for accents. ENV-B will have to be used for the amplitude envelope. Patch ENV-B to VCA-A level.
6: Adjust the VCA-B dial to set at what level of velocity an accent should trigger the envelope. Notes with a velocity above this threshold will pass to ENV-A triggering an accent. Turn CW to trigger more accents. Turn CCW to trigger fewer accents.
Accent Mixuverter & ENV B
1: MIDI Trig to Ring Mod.
2: MIDI Velocity to Ring Mod.
3: Ring Mod to Mixuverter main input. The Ring Mod is being used like a VCA. Triggers are attenuated by velocity using the Ring Mod.
4: Set the 2x switch to 1x. Set the polarity switch to unipolar.
5: Mixuverter to ENV-B gate. The Mixuverter attenuater sets the signal above or below value necessary to trigger the envelope. Notes with a velocity above this threshold will pass to the envelope triggering an accent. Turn CW to trigger more accents. Turn CCW to trigger fewer accents.
6: ENV-B to VCF FM-3.
7: ENV-B is being used for accents. ENV-A will have to be used for the filter envelope. Patch ENV-A to VCF FM-1.
